This policy describes information used by the Molecular Labs storefront. It covers shopping and account features, reviews, browser storage and contact enquiries. Use the contact details below if you have a question about information associated with you.

Information you provide

Checkout collects the details entered for an order, such as your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, phone number where supplied, chosen products and order notes. Order records also include totals, payment-method selection and order status.

If you use an account, the site stores account and profile information. If you contact us, your message and the contact or order details you provide are part of the enquiry.

How information is used

Information entered into the storefront supports the cart, checkout, account access, order administration and responses to customer enquiries. Submitted reviews and comments support the public discussion features of the website.

Account and order information is available to site administrators and store staff according to their assigned permissions. These records support order management and customer enquiries.

Cookies & saved products

The storefront uses browser cookies for cart and session features. WordPress uses cookies for login sessions and can remember comment-form details when you choose that option. Blocking these cookies can affect shopping or sign-in features.

Wishlist items are saved in this browser’s local storage, including product identifiers, names and links. Opening Wishlist requests current product information from the site. Saved items are not automatically shared between devices; remove them using the heart control or clear this site’s browser data.

Reviews, comments & avatars

Reviews and comments can include a name, email address, rating, comment text and optional website address. WordPress also records the submitting IP address and browser information. Published comments or reviews can display the author name, text, rating and avatar; the submitted email address is not displayed as a comment field.

With avatars enabled, the site requests images from Gravatar using a hash derived from the comment email address. Gravatar receives technical request information when an avatar is loaded. See Automattic’s privacy policy for that service.

External services

When your browser loads a resource from another provider, that provider receives the request and associated technical connection information. Follow its privacy information to understand how it handles those requests.

Payment information is handled according to the method offered at checkout. Review the information shown by a payment or other external service before submitting details through it.

This site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to retrieve the font files, sharing technical connection information such as its IP address. See Google’s privacy information for details.

Stored records & retention

Account, order and comment records are stored by the website and remain until they are removed or anonymized. The current site configuration does not apply an automatic deletion schedule to all of these records. Contact us about a particular record or a deletion request.

Wishlist storage remains in your browser until you remove saved items or clear the site data. Clearing browser data does not delete order, account or comment records stored on the website.
